Exclamation Power Seat and Outside alarm

Okay so I am new here, My 2010 Rx has just recently been doing funny things, and when i mention it to non lexus owners i get the stink eye, as in you're really complaining about that?
So I turn to you, I think you all are familiar with when you press on the break and hit the start button the power seat rolls you into memory 1 (I am the sole driver) well i have noticed that when I do this, my seat moves up about an inch and then pauses while the car literally starts up it then continues to move the chair all the way forward. Kind of annoying but not a big deal just wondering if anyone else has come across this. Also when i go to lock my car from my keys the chirping confirmation isn't as loud as it once was. its raspy somehow? I was sure if these two things have any correlation but I noticed these two issues together. I would appreciate any insight!

At the instant of start, all the voltage drop across the battery occurs at the starter. This is similar to wipers pausing or headlights dimming during the start.
Don't know what ours does as I usually start it then fasten the seatbelt. Once the belt is secured the seat will travel to it's position..........I think.
Original battery in the car ?
Have your battery load tested. Easy job & will tell the story of your battery condition.

Talking I think so too

That is what I think could be the issue as well, I bought my car used, and there is no telling exactly how old that battery is! Will go check asap and get back and post. I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

Mill, my 2010 RX does the same thing. I think it's happening by design so that the starter motor gets maximum battery power during startup. I bet those seat motors require a lot of juice to move the seat and a person's weight. My RX's battery is new, so I don't believe you have a battery issue. The seat also auto-adjusts to the last set position used.

Not having a starter, RX450h does no such thing. It is very surprising that the 350 does this. Old battery, maybe?
