I got another letter from them yesterday, 6 months for $25.00, plus fees. If you don't call prior to the end of the six months the subscription reverts to something like what Cruiter posted above.

Negotiated recently
For the past few years, I have negotiated five months for $20 + fees = $22.06.. Obviously, I do this every five months.. Just tell them if you can't get this price, you want to cancel your subscription. They always agree. Remember to call them just before the end of your five month term and renew. Otherwise, they will automatically charge you at the higher rate.

I found that Sirius is fantastic for a short-term, but just too expensive and almost too many options to want to continue with over a longer period of time!

I just got a email from Sirius XM $30 for six months. I may pull the trigger but like most say I will not give them a credit card numberthat is for the Selective Service which I believe is music only

I would just like to thank all the people on the forum for this heads up...it didn't occur to me that you could negotiate the rate and like a sucker, I was JUST about to sign up for full price (my trial ends in 5 days) when I saw this post. Thank you - I really appreciate the information!! Yes, I got the $89 rate too (versus $198.49)
