Default Winter ..bring it..new grips/wheels (pics)

These going on tomorrow..new Lexus wheels just for winter and Hakkapelitta 8's studded in the oem 19" size..

I expect to see pictures of your RX blasting through the snow Good luck with the tires. The treads look pretty nasty. Keep us posted on how well they perform.

My wife's car but I'll have to test drive them..bought 3 sets..daughters got them too..so there best not be any spinning on the epoxy garage floor

Wish I had them on my ML63 instead of these..very poor performers

Nice..how much did that rubber run ya? Was thinking of doing a winter setup with some OEM 18's but not sure if worth it here In NC

For the Lexus the rubber was about $1,200 and the wheels were $1,700..for the MB total wheel/tires package was about $7k

Wow, you must get some serious snow to require studded winter rubber. At that point, I'd be looking at a GX over an RX for heavy duty snow action.
It is surprising ML doesn't do that great with dedicated winter tires, as it has a much better 4WD system and RX's part-time AWD. Too much torque, maybe?

All washed up and ready for action..the studs are for ice performance of course and the aggressive tread should give good snow performance..the ML is so highly strung for performance the aggressive camber makes it very skittish when on a slippery surface..down right scary

Very nice, Nanook. A few states are getting hit with snow already. It's just a matter of time before you can test those babies out
