Default Maintenance Menu

This was given to us by the Lexus dealer:
every 8000 km Oil & filter service est. $127.00+shop supplies+tax.
16K/80K/112K/176K km Maintenance service & cabin air filter est. $399.75+.......
32K/64K/128K km Maintenance service, brake service w/fluid replacem't est. $628.75+........
48000 km Maintenance service, cabin AF, engine air filter est. $425.70+........
96000 km Maint. service, brake service, cabin AF & eng. AF est. $654.70+........
192000 km same as 96K + spark plugs est. $1253.70+.......

I think brake pads should last longer than 32K km under normal driving.
Any comment?

I don't think brake service means change brake pads. It is just changing the brake fluid and bleeding the system.

This may be a good time for you to look into the real maintenance required, not the one dealer "recommends" because that's how money from your pocket is transferred into theirs. It is in your manual or you can register at LexusDrivers.com.

Well, the US is certified for a 16K KM oil change intervals using 0W20 oil.
Every 48K KM, replace brake fluid (a bit too soon, IMHO), Engine Air Filter, AC Filter, Smart Key battery
Replace spark plugs at 205K KM

Rinse and repeat

There's no set interval for wear-and-tear items, such as brake pads, rotors, tires, etc.

BTW, DIY on these costs just a fraction of what you listed. Toyota dealer will also be much cheaper.
