I'm getting ready to take a road trip and can't get text message feature to work. I did a search and couldn't solve it.

In the phone setup area it is graded out, I can't click it.

I looked in the Navigation Manual from pages 172-190
I have. 3 settings showing: phone sound settings, phone book, & phone display settings. There is no message setting listed.

It had always worked in past with my iPhone 5.

Any suggestions appreciated, I leave at 4am Monday, any solutions appreciated, otherwise I'll have to go to Lexus when I get there, I'd love to be able to use.

Change to ios8 was the reason needed to enable notifications on phone. Thanks
