Default Please help dash cover removal

Please help me by providing instructions on how to remove the blank rectangular cover on the dashboard below start pushbutton, I think its where the heads up option normally goes? Please see attached picture Thank you

The cover is probably held in place by tabs. You can use a screwdriver to release them. I've used a plastic card to minimize damage.

There are two or three HUD buttons there. Height, info selector to cycle mph, kph, and lastly brightness.

From your picture I think I already see where the tabs are

I tried to pry it out with a plastic trim tool however it seemed very stiff. Where are the tabs, please advise?

Try slipping a thin plastic card in there to find the tabs. Then push down on them. It's what I used to pop off the interior light covers. I'd recommend starting with the short (vertical) sides. And with removing most parts, the first time is probably going to be the hardest. Good luck.

I have the diagram to remove the entire lower dash. Once you do that, you can gain access from the back of the panel

RXSF Just wanted to say thank you. I followed the instructions and could not have done it with your help! The cover was screwed in from the back side and used as stowage for option connector. See pics thanks again Chuck
