Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone has any experience of replacing license plate bulb on a 3rd gen rx?

I tried taking off the interior lining on the rear hatch but no luck. There's access covers for taillight & reverse, but none for license plate light. I also tried "popping" out the plate light cover right above the license plate... don't think they are designed to be popped out.

so I'm stuck, any help is appreciated!

Just curious but why are ya trying to change it? From what ive seen on here people have told me that its very difficult to swap and many take it to dealer... Also, its not a simple bulb replacement..it involves circuit boards and yada yada

I'm tryin to mount an aftermarket recorder/backup camera on the license plate. I need to feed the line through license plate light and draw power there.
