Some of us are trying to figure out if the website or the brochure is correct. On the brochure for the 2015 RX, there is no mention of any model or any option package offering RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert). However, on the website, it shows up as an option only on the Fsport, which makes no sense since RCTA is certainly not a performance option.

One of these sources is wrong.

If you have RX that actually has RCTA, can you reply please?

No 2015 RX has RCTA.
Actually - I believe no RX's have RCTA - in the United States anyway.

On website you can build an FSport for US with RCTA

i have said in the other thread, i don't believe there's RCTA in any RX350/450h/F sport.
it's impossible that no one here, in this forum with thousand of members have this feature.
AND it's also unthinkable not to include it in a fully loaded RX on a dealer's lot that have ML and Rear Entertainment DVD system.

i think steve and sandy14 have better chance of seeing an RX with cloth seats vs one with RCTA

As has been discussed many times on this forum, you can't rely on the "Build your lexus" option on lexus.com. When I built mine, it showed that the LED headlight option had Intelligent high beam and swiveling headlights, when I knew it didn't.

Steve, since you're in the Dallas area, drop by Sewell or Park Place and look at their F Sports. On yourlexusdealer.com inventory (http://www.yourlexusdealer.com/yourl...delSubGroup=RX), for the F Sport, it shows "blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert" as an additional option, but I doubt they have RCTA.

Based on information here, the 2015 RX 350 does not have RCTA. Does the 2015 Lexus RX 350 have intelligent high beams (on the HID Option)?

Mine has it; 2015 with the Technology pkg., here in Canada. Would imagine it is available in the US as well.

This is not a reliable method to decide whether Lexus makes cars with RCTA. Dealers just do not carry cars with some packages. I was looking for an RX350 with Technology package in the Silicon Valley. There are at least 7 Lexus dealers within 50 miles of San Jose, CA. No one carried a car with tech package. One of the salesmen explained that dealers in Northern CA get together each year and decide what kinds of packages are best sellers and give that information as forecast for next year to Lexus. Of course if there is no car with Tech package in the lot, the sales figures for that year will show no demand! Go figure. I could have special-ordered it. But then, I would have lost the $7500+ discount off sticker price that I was getting. So I decided to become part of the no-demand statistic by buying from what was on the lot. In short, scouring dealer lots to decide whether Lexus offers a specific option is not a foolproof method.
