Remote Start Problem
My remote start isn't working. Anyone else encountered this? I'd just like to make sure I haven't overlooked any obvious fix before I schedule a service appointment.

I've been having this problem for several days. I tried to start it from approximately 35 feet with no luck. Got home and stood about 4 feet. Still wouldn't start.
Sequence: press lock twice, press lock again and hold.
It worked fine last week.

I don't have remote start, but I think it's the fob battery. Alkaline battery life falls off quickly, not like the old carbon batts that died gradually. Please let us know how this gets resolved.

Looks like you nailed it. We tried the other fob and it started right up. The car is only 31/2 months old. I had my 10 for 4 years and the battery never failed.

Glad you're remotely good to go, so to speak.
TIP: Did you know that you can use the tip of the mechanical key to open the fob? There's a special slot in the key recess to facilitate popping the fob.
