Default Over spray

I just bought a certified 2012 and after a few weeks noticed one of the wheels had over spray on it. It is hard to see considering my car is silver. I did a check and back a year or so it seemed it was at the dealers and they scratched it needing some touch up. I don't want this wheel and should it be covered?

Thanks

You need to talk to the dealer about what you found and see if there's a little good will maybe. But if it was just scratched (that's not considered a wreck) I'm not sure there will be any coverage. If the wheel was not damaged other than a little over spray they might be able to clean that off.

If it's hard to see, then what's the issue? You bought a used car and it has a defect. Take it to a detailer and have them remove the overspray.

Save your dealer goodwill for something worth it.

Overspray usually can be removed easily with a little clay bar and lubricant. $20 and 20 minute fix.

Are we sure this is overspray and not tire shine that flung on the wheels?

Tire shine doesn't feel like 80 grit sand paper. It is hard to see since I have a silver one the over spray matches the wheel color. I will try the clay bar today when I get a chance.
