I have a Harbor Freight motorcycle carrier (link below) and want to haul a 450 lbs motorcycle around 50 miles. I read the RX tongue weight max is 400 lbs, but has anyone actually tested this in a similar application? Is the 400 lbs max more of a suggestion, or would 450 lbs be risking breaking something?

I have an etrailer hitch rated at 500 lbs tongue weight so I know that could take the load.
