Squeaky Shift Stick
I have a 2010 RX and I've recently noticed every time I shift from Drive to Reverse and vice versa there's a squeaking noise coming from the shift stick. Any idea what this could be and if there's an easy solution?
I'm not due for service or an oil change for another 5,000 miles so I'm hoping it's not something I need to address immediately. Do you think it would be safe to wait until then?
Any ideas?

I know what you are talking about, I had this issues on most Toyota's. Just needs some lithium grease sprayed. Its either the shifter cables or bushing since its dry and just rubbing against another metal component without lubricant. < I could be wrong, but this was always the case.
Its nothing harmful from my experience, but if you take it to any Lexus dealer they will perform the service quick. I wasn't charged for this last time I had it, but it differs, from dealer to dealer.
