MD Tags, Title, Registration: 385.90
Out-the-door price: 48,242.00

I think you could do a little better than that. As a reference, I purchased a 2015 FWD RX (I know you're looking for AWD) for $43,700 before TTL. That price also included navigation, comfort, BSM, and all weather mats (that was thrown-in in the last minute). For what it's worth, I'm in Houston, TX. My out the door price was just under $47k.

Just leased 2015 RX350 AWD for my wife's easy commute.
With navigation, premium (blind spot, moonroof, heated mirror, etc.), comfort pkg (Xenon HID, LED fog lamp, heated/vented seat, etc.)
plus parking asst., paint protection film, door edge guards, all weather mat, cargo mat, cargo net, wheel locks, wood/leather trimmed steering wheel and ****, premium audio for navigation

MSRP $51,012
Invoice $48,065
Cap cost $47,510
Residual (62%) $31,627
7500 mile/yr for 36 mth
Zero downpayment
MF = 0.0009
OTD = $6,500 (9 MSD = $4,050 + total fee = $1,125 + wear/scratch protection = $875 + 1st month = $450)
Monthly payment (incl. 6.25% tax in MA) = $450

Two (minor) things I found strange are:
1. the odometer reading on paper was 6 miles but it was 17 miles when I picked up today.
2. the MA plate renewal date is September 2016 instead of November 2016.

Anyway, she loves it and I still think I got a pretty nice deal on this one though it was my first time leasing a car.

Default 2015 RX350 - $ paid

Hi All,

Just purchased RX350 AWD 'base' with default premium package. MSRP was $46k. I am in MA. Ended up buying for 40k excluding taxes, and fees. Was that a good deal? I am really new to this $ range.

Also, I assume this has the same 3.5L engine as Camry, correct? Does camry also use synthetic oil?

Sorry for the silly questions, just want to gather some info from real owners as the dealer sales people know nothing. Thanks.

dhwheelie - Congratulations of your very excellent purchase and stellar negation skills. In my way of thinking, anything over 10% off MSRP is a win-win. We did not get that much percent off our '11 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) RX.
You are right. Salespeople know sales, not so much technical things.
The engine is the same as the Highlander. I don't know if the Highlander and the Camry have the same engine. Your Lexus engine has more power than the Toyota version.
I don't know if the new Camry engines use synthetic oil. I would guess yes, and call your Toyota dealer.
Synthetic oil has a 10,000 mile interval. Lexus wants to see your car every 5,000 miles. Tip: Make a list of your concerns before you go in for your 5,000 mile check. Also the delivery specialists will help you pair your devices (phones) with your car. They ask that you make an appointment. These are not the salespeople. Different mindset.
Your questions aren't silly. Keep 'em coming!
Ray A.

I live in Delaware and also would like to know which dealer you got the deal from since I can very well buy from MD as well. Did you have to negotiate hard? You got more than 10% off is that standard deal everyone is getting.

Try Wilkie (PA, Exit 13, Villanova Univ, Blue Route), Sheehy Annapolis (MD, Route 301/50) and Lindsay (VA) for the best discounts. Wilkie is a small showroom close to the Ferrari showroom and they are super busy and a majority of the RXs in this area are from here as they discount their cars well. Sheehy has the highest positive sales and service reviews on dealerrater.com and they treat you well. The Lindsay owner is generally available online for a chat and is very competitive. Koons sales are ok locally but they don't discount their cars as well as the others.

Target a discount of anywhere between 12% to 17% for the most current year model like the 2015 RX and higher for a prior year model like the 2014 RX. It is rumored that the redesigned 2016 is coming out in March/April of 2015 and the 2015s or the 2014s will take a hit on the resale as it will then be the obsolete body design. If you are financing at a higher percentage with LFS, just know that you can easily refi for 1.49% outside for 65months. After the deal is finalized, you can negotiate to include freebies like cross bars or a tire and wheel protection package or paint protection....Wilkie has a $187 processing fee, Annapolis has a $200 processing fee, Dealers in VA state may charge upto $600 I guess. You really have to look at the total package vs itemized. I personally did not have a good experience with few MD dealerships and they look and act like they are working in a Kia showroom.

Let me know how you make out.

Default 2015 Lexus RX350 price

I received the car for $5925 off MSRP from Park Place Lexus in Dallas.

2015 RX350 Premium Package:

MSRP: $47,149
Bargained Price: $41,224
OTD Price: $44,541

I think the best offer I've seen so far is $6289 off MSRP, posted by zizou.

I am also in Dallas and looking to buy RX350. Would you please give more details about your car? Is it AWD? Premium Package only wouldn't have MSRP of $47K+. Are there any other options?
