Hi Guys,

I just negotiated for a 2015 RX350 FWD, silver, ebony interior, premium package W/ blind spot, comfort package, 19" wheels, parking assist, Navigation, wood & leather trimmed Steering, cargo mat, and towing Prep. Is this a good OTD price?

MSRP: $49, 799

$45,000 Negotiated price

46, 973 OTD price with taxes and fees included.

I live in NC and the sales tax is 3%

That's a great price.
Take comfort in that someone up in VA paid a lot more.

My salesman and his manager basically flipped me over by my ankles and shook me until all my money fell out.
I obviously need to work on my technique.

Well done. Must be nice living in NC. Here in NJ a 45k negotiated price is 48,900 OTD. 7% tax and higher registration fees. My OTD was the same as yours. I made the dealer absorb the high cost of living in NJ. Enjoy your new RX it's a great vehicle.

I'm shopping for this car in the Bay Area. Sounds like a great price. Who is your dealer and saleperson? Thanks.

I'm in Southern California and lowest they quote me is low 41K (MSRP 45k+) premium package FWD Starfire. I have just started the negotiation process over email. Do you think I can push it lower? Of course I want to pay as low as possible but want to know how far I can get. Ideally, I want to pay less than 43k OTD.

Negotiated a deal for my sis, 2015 RX F Sport 52,700 for 48,000 and another $2500 on top of what they were willing to give on the trade, plus free window tint and upgrade the tires to Michelins. Not too shabby. She loves her new ride.

This just doesn't sound right. Sales tax alone is 8.75% in San Francisco; in addition to registration ... probably another $400+.

Jasmine,

I purchased my RX350 2015 for $42.5k and OTD $46.5 based on MSRP $49k.

I am sure you can do better than $41k.

I bought mine from Carlsbad. Longo and Santa Monica also gave low bids.

Hi Globallex,

Could you give me the name of the dealer you worked with and when you purchased your car? I'm trying to negotiate a deal with Carlsbad Lexus as well, and I'm hoping to get a deal similar to yours. Thanks in advance!

Thank you, that's very helpful. I assume yours is with navigation.
I will try to get lower than 41k, if not I will offer for navigation if that give me the best value for my money.

Longo, Newport and Cerritos are the ones giving me low bids. All the other place won't give me a price over email only they say the can beat 41k if I come in. Haven't tried Carlsbad.
