^Quite the opposite. The stain would drive me crazy. Can you clean it off or is it permanent?

I have not tried to clean it. It is much more prominent in the photo than it is in person. I had not noticed it till I read this thread and the OP commented on it.

Does anyone know if this stain is available on the 2015? I do not see it listed in any of the specifications. Perhaps I should wait until the redesign for 2016 to see if it comes standard.

I don't think its a stain. They treated the area around the pen holder so that when you grab for the pen (probably pretty often), your nails won't scratch the material. The areas away from the pen holder are susceptible to scotches. If you dig your nail into it, it will create white lines. I don't think this is the case with the "treated" stain. Granted, they could have done a neater job with it

Tom558: Is this a standard stain or a Mark Levinson stain? If it's ML, it probably won't be available on the NX.

I don't see anything on the sticker about a ML stain so I'm guessing I have Comfort Pkg stain.

Have you spoken to an SA about not getting a stain.? I guess it can be applied by the dealer but I'm not certain what that would do to the value of your RX.

I think it ONLY holds Mont Blanc; Anita will confirm....lol
