Default 2010 or 2013+ which one to get my wife

i will be trading my LX570 for either a 2013 RX or a 2010+ one. I have been looking around I found couple that I might go this weekend if they are still there.

I am not getting a brand new max about 40k, The lx wife does not like- she says it too big and our kids are getting big smaller car seats no stroller etc so downsizing makes sense. I rarely drive the LX anymore.

I found some 2010+ ones in the low miles range for under 35k or I can get a nice teens miles for around 40k for a 2013. For me 2013s looks much nicer interior leds etc.

one thing I cant figure out is , the pre 2013 came with blind spot monitor? I am going to get a smg with black nav/etc. I might also get a F sport one but so far what I have read apart from CVT and 8 speeds/wheels not much difference? does the F sport have bigger brakes? like the ls460 f sport.

Would appreciate your input guys

2013 + much nicer inside & out. I am almost positive the BSM was introduced in 2013

2013 or newer.
I can't justify a 2012 or older unless you're looking at $4,000 savings.
( and we assume the RX being compared have comparable features and milage)

I would recommend 2013+. Much better styling plus only requires Regular Gas. The car will also have remaining factory warranty at the least.
FIY, got my wife a FWD 2013 with all options (except BSM) with 9,500 miles and 37 months factory warranty for $38,499 last December.

what do you mean "all options"?
do you have Mark Levinson? Heads Up Display (HUD)?

i find it odd not to have BSM with a 2013 with "all the options".

Yes, it came with ML system. No HUD, we wouldn't want HUD anyway (more money when the windshield break, especially with the horrible roads here in CA).
Not sure why there is no BSM l but what other options does it need to have to be "all the options".

My wife didn't like the saddle interior as we'll.
when she pointed out how the brown interior looks out of place in a light gray headliner
I kinda agree with her.
so we got the light gray instead.
