Suddenly my BSM is not working. When I pressed the on/off button, the icon on the mirror lights up but then goes away. When I press it again, a message appears telling me it’s off followed by a yellow triangle indicating a problem.

At the same time my side view mirrors do not tilt down in reverse.

Amy ideas what my be happening before I take it in?
