Best conditioner for leather?
Can someone tell me the best conditioner for leather? Also is it safe to use on perforated area of seats? I don't want to clog the pores. Thanks

I don't think anyone can honestly say what's the single best product out there since there are hundreds of them. What I can say is over the last few years, I've been using Meguair's Gold Class Rich Leather Conditioner/Cleaner and am very satisfied. Low gloss and slip, yet cleans very well, and doesn't clog the ventilated seats. I've even used it on some light colored leather arm chairs and sofa with excellent results. For instance, dirt/grime easily accumulated over a couple years especially along the arms and this product virtually loosens the grime then with a light wipe, cleans to a smooth supple feel and clean shine. If I can find a pic of my arm chair before and after, I'll post.
Note, I prefer the spray version since you spray on the surface directly and will not clog the seat ventilation holes versus the bottle version containing the thicker solution. Downside to the spray bottle is you need to be careful of overspray otherwise you'll have shinier spray spots.

Ok, I'll throw the brand I have used for several years in the ring. Zaino "Leather in a bottle"! It's great with cleaning and conditioning the leather, and gives off an intoxicating smell like a new leather coat!

Cheryl, I'll go one step further. There's an entire thread just on Lexus leather. It's a good read to learn more and get some recommendations. I'd say it's one of the most frequently asked questions. Do a search within the Automotive Care and Detailing forum or PM any of the CL vendors like Detailed Image, Detailers Domain or Autogeek for suggestions. With that, I'm closing the thread.
