Default Rx350 navi traffic

Hello, I am new to this forum so my issue may already have been addressed but I am really at my wits end. I have a 2011 RX350 which I was told by my sales rep was compatable with Navi Traffic from Sirus XM radio. Unfortunately my sales rep was wrong. My radio is not compatable with Navi Traffic. When I contacted Sirus they informed me that I would have to add a Satelite module in order to receive Navi Traiffc. Of course when I called the dealership service department they had no clue what I was talking about. Please, I tuly need Navi Traffic that shows traffic congestion on my Navigation Map Screen as I commute. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can have this module added or any other suggestions, fixes? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

First thing I would find out is how well it actually works. During the trial period I had it in mine, it was pretty useless.
The best way to check the traffic has been Google Maps on my iPhone.

Thanks all....I was on the phone with Sirus XM for almost an hour. The manager finally fixed the problem. I now have NavTraffic. The car is equipped with the module, the prior XM reps and manager I spoke with were not knowledgeable enough to fix the problem. Thank God for Curtis!

Glad you have it resolved!

We have found it to be very useful and accurate. It's a good tool to have.

I'm very surprised that people still try to use navigation in their cars. My suggestion like vlad_a's is to use your phone. I have my traffic app readily handy on my home page on my phone and can check it very safely and easily not to mention faster than I can even fumble with the car's navigation. Even with small backroads, googlemaps is going to have more up to date traffic information than the XM navi traffic. Hope this helps!
