Default AWD Issue--Lexus says nothing wrong

Hi,
My wife has a 2010 RX-350 which had to have the transmission replaced a few weeks ago. She has run into an issue when it's cold that the car seems to be stuck in neutral as she applies the gas and it just creeps. This most recent time, the "Check Engine" light came on the message "Check AWD" on the dash. Lexus says they can't find anything wrong except slightly low Transmission Fluid.

Anybody have any clues?

I would leave it for an "overnight cold" test. I would request a different tech. Clearly something is very wrong. This is known as "morning sickness" in the transmission world. Personally, I think they need to do the job over with a factory-certified good transmission. In other words, I think you got someone else's bad trans, but that's just my opinion. Good luck.

In my experience, the dash/codes can give you an awd error message but it has nothing to do with the awd system.

Either replaced with new or a rebuilt, you should not be seeing this condition.
Have you checked the fluid level & condition yourself ?
Nice clear even reddish/pink without a burned varnish smell.
Leave it to cool as another post has stated, get them to provide a loaner.
A pressure test is needed to ensure the fluid is going to where & when it needs to be there.
