So here's what I've found, without the help from Lexus tech support. The seats do indeed respond and set themselved when using the smartkey- I touch the door- it unlocks, and seats move back from my wife's exit setting. My wife's settings are much closer to the steering wheel than mine, so I've noticed her exit seat posotion does not go as far back as mine. None the less, the seat position does indeed respond to each individual smart key.

Somehow, when I reprogrammed the memory to accept the heat settings (which did work), the seat memory is no longer linked to the keyfob. But it DID work before!
Hi,
How do you program the "heat settings" ? I do not recall reading anything regarding this in the manual. Thanks

As that I'm a relative newbie, I'm no expert as many are here... but seems like when I had all settings as I liked them (including heat "auto" setting on vs. off), and then pushed my memory button, then set, it seemed to remember that setting.

What I've learned that seems critical, the keyfob must unlock the car for it's settings to take effect. If for example, we park our car in our garage without locking the doors (who locks doors in their own garage?) if the other driver enters the car, they must manually push the memory button. If on the other hand, one locks the car, and the other driver unlocks the car with their keyfob in possession, then user setting change to that user (seat position, radio, heat settings, etc). Fact- true for seat settings. Not sure for others.

Hi, i searched for answer here and in manual and cant find an answer I can't lock the car with remote when the car is ON so i have to take out the mechanical key and lock it that way.
Lets say i have to run out for 1-10 minutes and want to leave car running but can't lock it. Gets very annoying. Any1 knows how to change that?
