RX350 rear seat covers
Hi all,
New 2014 RX350 owner here, our first Lexus and loving the new wheels. Was looking for insight/1st hand experience with rear seat covers? Currently have an felt blanket covering up the rear seat but would like something more permanent/custom fit.
It's -30C here.. so covering up the rear(s) is desired :-)

In my opinion, there is nothing uglier than putting seat covers over beautiful new leather seats.
What are you carrying in the back that requires covers - dogs? If so, there are various covers for that purpose (although I keep my dogs out of the new car).
You mention the temperature but I don't see how/why you need to protect the seats from the cold.

-30C is about 86F. I have no issue with the seat temps especially in the rear where the glass is darkly tinted.
That said, if you really want one, I would suspect you could find a seat cover from JC Whitney?

Yeah, was hoping some other owners in colder climates might have some experience with
various seat covers.

No, I don't play soccer!
Ouch, at those temperatures you're talking about major butt freeze. A seat cover made out of sheepskin would probably be best. Check with some of our vendors like AutoGeek or Xenon Depot (aka KBcarstuff) to see what they carry. Hope it warms up for you.

Perhaps you might find something at Coverking, though I might think a set of throw blankets might do just as well.

haha, I can relate temperature-wise and also having had a blanket.
Not a fan of seat covers, but when I saw these I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I think look pretty cool. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Here are the seat covers I got last winter that have been durable so far and stylish matching the sportiness of the F-Sport.
Not bad eh? ...for 3$ seat covers purchased at Dollarama

Thx corradoMR2.. Never though of singles for the backseats.. I'll have to look into those. I'm not a fan of seat covers, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Sittin' on an icecube ain't fun.

Some of those may even come with heaters. Your passengers will appreciate them even more.
I gave up on trying to find a decent seat cover for the entire bench. The seat has airbags on each side, so the cover has to be explicitly designed not to impede with them in case of an accident.

hubble998: If your still looking for seat covers for the rear seats, I would recommend the Coverking seat covers. They come in at different price points and different materials depending on your needs. There all custom made per order to give you an exact fit.
Here is a sample of what they offer:
