Default Sports Appearance Package

Has anyone added/bought this?.
From the pictures it looks like a nice change to make.

It looks way better. You should take a look in person.

Surprisingly very few RX have it. No inventory anywhere so i would have to order without seeing it.

The sport appearance package probably doesn't sell, especially now with the F-Sport. I saw it on an RX maybe two years ago before the refresh. When I looked at the 2014 brochure, it looks like it still has the blackened headlight housing in addition to the unique grill, 19" triple split five spoke alloy wheels with superchrome finish, and badging. Unfortunately you might have to decide whether it's worth it sight unseen. BTW, that's what I had to do when I ordered my 450h with the Sport package (no longer available). The cost was less than the rims alone.

Here's a picture of the rims so at least you have an idea of what they look like:

In my search of a specific RX 450h across the nation, I found that Colorado seems to order many of their hybrids with the sport appearance package.
19" wheels are $770. The sport appearance package is $1100. In my opinion, it's definitely worth the extra $330 to get a sexier front end. Further research shows that it's not quite the same as the F Sport bumper. It appears to just change the bottom part of the bumper to look like the F Sport, but the top part is the same as a normal RX bumper. This link from the Lexus website shows the sport appearance package. http://www.lexus.com/models/RX/galle...ok.jsp?i=0&j=6
Click to the next picture, and it shows the normal bumper.

I ordered my 2013 RX450h with Sports Appearance Package. In fact I placed a special order with the dealer and then waited for a couple of months.

Using plasti-dip to paint the upper grill and the middle part of bumper.
