All this is discussed right in your Owner's Manual to include the battery number needed. Page 499 in the attached:

As for where to get the batteries, they are easily obtained at most any large box retailer. Get a name brand and you cannot go wrong.

Thank you CaveDawg for posting the video. I've never attempted to change mine. My batteries seem to only last about 6 months. The wonderful service takes care of it.

FWIW, I'm still operating on my original battery in my 2013 FOB, over 15 months since delivery. On my previous 2006 RX400h, I remember replacing the battery only once in my near 7 years of ownership, and it was not done by the dealership with service between that time. IMHO, we all use the buttons more or less than another person, and for shorter or longer duration (I'm of the short and sweet button pushing variety ). Using fresh batteries vs those cheap no-name ones sold in volume on eBay that you have no idea about how much juice is left, is also something I try to do when the time comes. ...but I think the more important thing is when not in use, I keep my FOB hung on a hook inside my home far enough away from the truck that it is not communicating and waking up my FOB more often than necessary... Sorry, I forget what that distance is right now as I determined that years ago, but will leave it to another with memory of that previous thread or the detail to post!

I also have 2010 RX350 and just replaced the battery on both fobs.

Cheap and easy, get it done soon.

I believe FOB battery replacement is part of the standard service package every 15K miles (at least at my dealership). If you bring both FOBs they will replace both batteries.
