Can I work direct with LFS on lease buyout?
I have a 2011 RX350 AWD on lease which ends this month.
I am thinking of buying the car and was wondering if I can work direct with Lexus Financial instead of going through the dealer.
My sales rep has not called me back yet and I don't feel he should be rewarded for not returning my calls/emails.
I see there is .9 percent financing but would that only apply for a new vehicle.
Please let me know. Thanks.

just write a check for the payoff quote ( which you can find on the LFS website)
the payoff quote is good for about 3 weeks, then it changes based on taxes and the monthly payment that you just made.
TRY calling the LFS customer service, NOT the dealership.

I have 2 voicemails, and even texted my sales guy's phone but no response.

Maybe your sales guy is out of the office for the holidays (although his voice mail should tell you that). I'm sure there are other Lexus dealers in the state. Maybe you have to go a little further - but that will teach him a lesson

I bought my 2010 after lease and it was very fast and easy. LFS told me to go to the Finance Manager at my dealer not the salesman. At my dealer, he was great. Took care of everything from loan to new registration and title. No charge for anything. You don't need to buy it now if you don't want to. LFS will let you extend the lease for 6 months and then you can buy it. That's what I did.

What i did before, Pay everything online, AND then they did all the paperworks
I got it through the mail to sign the papers and sent it back.
From my experience, the payoff qoute is cheaper than the KBB value.
Anyway, maybe you can haggle more since you will be at the dealership.
