Default Besides the dealer, where to purchase OEM chrome wheels

I am not a fan of chrome, but for some reason they fit perfect with stargazer black IMO. I've seen some on eBay but would rather give a supported vendor business if they exist. These would be the 19" version of a 2011 model.

I bought many sets of tires and wheels from TireRack and have always been pleased with the price, quality, and care in shipping.

BTW - I just bought my RX350 the other day and I asked about upgrading the 19" wheels to chrome. The Delaer said that would cost me $3000. By the end of the negotiation the price was down to $2,000 but that is still too much IMO.

I have the chrome Lexus wheels on my RX300 and they look great but they do require a lot more effort to keep them nice. Now, 11 years later, some of the chrome is peeling and there are some spots that won't come clean, but they still look pretty good.

Good Luck

I have purchased 2 rims from Rockauto.com
The reconditioned ones and they were perfect.

Default An affordable option

Here's a much more affordable option for chrome wheels on your Stargazer Black RX. No swapping tires and pressure sensors. No peeling chrome. They look perfect or they wouldn't be on my wife's truck.

Here's a link to my original post on this forum. >>> Chrome 7 spoke 19" RX wheelskins

Do a google search for "Lexus chrome wheelskins" for more info.

Thanks I'll check them out. I have the original 19" that came with the car.

That's pretty cool. Wonder how they'll hold up with the elements and road conditions over time.

You can also take a look at the RX classified forum. They come up from time to time. Another thought is to put up a WTB post. Good luck in your search.

Depending on your area, and if you can find good condition wheels in the size you want..you can look to see if there is anyone doing chrome plating. Typically they have services to media blast the wheel, do light repair before plating.

I've had them on for nearly one year now and they've seen the gamut of elements and road conditions. They still look like brand new. I fully expect the wheelskins will look as good, if not better, than chrome plated wheels in a few years. The bonus is that if one gets damaged, it's not terribly expensive to just order a new set.

I like chrome wheels. Here's a recent pic of my convertible and the wife's truck.
