MJ, your father could have just listed you as a non-driver on the Porsche and called it a day. You can't just get a quote for one vehicle and not the others in the household (I assume it's one household, otherwise there's no reason to have you insured on his car), unless you explicitly state you will not be driving them. Also, rates will vary greatly between insurance companies, depending on the drivers they specialize in. It sounds like you may want to talk to a few insurance agents, who may get you a more favorable rate on your new acquisition.

It is a super complicated situation, I'll explain one day when I have a lot of time on my hands...

Mj, the LX looks like a beast and is very nicely equipped. Is the RX staying in the garage or will you keep it as the DD?

I hope the red one stays as your daily driver. I assume you're still in school (HS or College) and those parking lots can be murder, as you know. I remember your first door ding in the RX. You were freaking out.

The LX looks tight. Congrats on picking up a great vehicle.

Thanks! The RX was my first car I'm never getting rid of it. Yea I'm actually gonna alternate between both, like an every other day or something like that.

Yea it only saw the parking lot once, and never again still gonna keep RX spotless though. I'm just gonna take it to the office and long trips for now.

In other news I found out how to have both my cars stay in the garage and still be able to adequately open the door so I can get in, I have to park both at a tilt see...
