Wind Noise 2012 RX 350
Does anyone have any information on wind noise problems in the 2013 RX 350? I am so disappointed with this situation and actually regret entering into a lease for 36 months. I previously had a 4 year lease on a 2003 GX470 and it was MUCH quieter.
When a friend recently let me drive a 2013 Nissan Altima, I was blown away by how much quieter it is then the RX, especially since it costs about 50% of the Lexus. I was shocked to read all the hundreds of posts here about wind noise issues with LX models, and fascinated by the letters to and from Lexus by Lexus owners about the problem. I appreciated the substantial information provided by one forum member on a fix he developed for the LX and I am hoping someone here has useful information on how to solve this embarrassing and disappointing problem with the 2013 RX 350.
Thank you!

I actually find our (wife's car) RX very quiet, even at highway speeds. The only car we test drove that we both found measurably quieter was a Grand Cherokee Summit (surprising as that was to us). I'm a bit biased since I'm usually in a muscle car with 650+ hp and headers, but my wife has the ears of a bat.

I have owned several Lexus LS sedans with noted wind noise problems and suggested fixes on this forum. I had driven several RXs as loaners and knew what to expect. I realized that I was buying an SUV RX and not an LS Sedan and did not expect the RX to be as quite as some other cars. The salesman questioned me if I was making a correct decision in going from the LS to the RX, as they were not the same class of vehicle. The RX is an SUV and may no be as quite as other cars. I now have Michelin Tires on the 2013 RX 350 and am very pleased with the quietness and limited road noise. It's an SUV, not a luxury sedan.....

we test drove a 2011 vs a 2013. I told my wife that the only way that I would get an RX350 would be the 2013. My father-in-law has the 2007 and I hated it. His drive like a bag of water on the road.
