Considering a CPO 2012 RX450h
I was looking at CPO RXh earlier this year. It seems CPO RX450h are very popular as they get sold pretty quickly. Just started browsing again and saw a 2012 CPO and I went and test drove it today. The price is $38500. Do you guys think it's a good price? Original sticker price was $58k. Prices on CPO 2010 with ~30k miles were going for around the same price back in March.
The car is in excellent condition inside and out. It's a bit high on the mileage at 45k, but the service records showed that it was diligently maintained - the entire stack of service receipts was in the glove box, oil changed like every 2 months at a Lexus dealership
Looks like the dealer put on a new set of Dunlops as part of the CPO process. The test drive was very short, but I could feel that the ride was kind of rough. It may be due to the fact that the car sat there for a little while. I will go for an extended test drive to make sure the ride smooths out before I decide to buy it.
The only flaw on the body was a paint chip on the edge of the door that was not touched up and rusted. Other than that the car really is in great shape in and out.
My other car in the garage is a CT200h, so it will be nice to pair it up with an RXh I had a RX400h back in 2006, and an RX300 in 2002, so I'm no stranger to the RX.

Thanks, I closed the deal Wanted to move on this quick before someone else buys it. I'm still seeing some 2010 CPO (with a bit less miles) for the same price. This car is as clean as they come, it was even originally delivered at this dealership, and I have the car's entire service record receipts since new.
Went for an extended test drive, on the highway this time. The ride smoothed out nicely after a long stretch of high speed drive, and this was with the tire pressure all wrong on each tire, 39/39/36/35 (cold, before I started driving) This TPM system is strange in that it can't tell you which tire is which.
