Well, I took it to the Body shop that the Lexus dealership sent all their cars too.....they quotes me $1200 for the little chips........i think it's a little excessive. the body shop then recommended me to get touch-up paint from the dealer. I already got the Dr. Chip color. Should i use that or should i use touch up paint from the dealer?

Theyll probably both be the same to be perfectly honest.

However, I have a reason to why they quoted you $1200. Its a little steep but the starfire pearl is a pearl paint. Its extremely difficult to get right and trust me, all pearl paints are a pain if involved in an accident. My wife's Merc is pearl and took the absolute mick to get right.

Basically, a word of warning, pearl paint tends to look different colours and if the flakes arent done properly, youll be looking at a hefty mess.
