Default New Grille for 2010-12

I have been wanting this grille since I bough my RX. Anita, this is the next project. It comes in this flat gun metal color, disgusting. So off to Auto Zone to buy some nice Metallic Paint. Much better, and you can or can not add the Lexus Logo. I am going to try it both ways, without first, it is easy to add it later. Letting everything dry tonight and tomorrow I do the install. More pictures to come. This grille fits 2010-12 Rx 350, it comes from LX-Mode and cost $580 delivered, it use to be more money. Patience has brought the price down about $150.

Interesting, a horizontal grill. The metallic paint definitely makes it look better than the matte. Price is nice too. Can't wait to see it on the RX.

It's pretty much like the Thundercloud grille, which fits the '04 to '09 cars.
I put one on my car and I'm a big fan.

Default The Rest of the Story

I got busy this morning and it is a done deal. I decided to go with the Lexus Logo as it looked to plain without it. While I was at it I decided to paint the inner logo part satin black to give it more contrast. I think I like it..

Out with old in with the new.

So here it is without and with the 'L', and then with the center painted black.

Grill looks good on the RX. I agree the 'L' makes it better, also with the background painted black. How is the color next to the chrome outer piece?

The grille color next to the chrome is not bad. I guess I could have painted the whole thing black but I thought that was too boring. Overall l am happy with it, no more projects for now. Ha!
