Yeah the RX is boring! there is no doubt about it, BUT it is one of the most practical cars you can buy. Not a great looking car, but not to ugly. Not the nicest interior inside, but not also the worst. Its also easy to maintain. Not the most advanced tech features, but you have the ones you need and they don't break all the time. Did I mention its practical? Seats are easy to fold down, big trunk, nice ride, quite interior. Expensive, yet not flashy. To be honest I think its pretty perfect. Good reliable. You guys might not think reliability is important, but coming from an Audi trust me its now at the top of my list. Also its a relative bargain basket compared to entry and midsize suvs.

I am very surprised I heard that European cars sold in Europe even if produced from the same plant tend to be built with smaller gap tolerances, higher quality and improved reliability because of the better build. Since Europeans pay more for their cars and keep their cars longer than Americans (on average). Just wondering also when I was in the UK I saw Range Rovers, and Jaguars as police cars so I assumed they must be somewhat reliable.

Is it a bit boring compared to my previous '04 BMW 325i? Yes. Do I miss having my car at the mechanic every month? Noooo.

My car was 8 months at my mechanic due to electrical issues and ended up having to buy a refurbished ECU. They're great cars to drive (engine and transmission was still in great shape st 116K miles) but to much electrical and suspension components. With a new baby in my life the last thing I need is to worrry about car repairs. I'll never make the mistake again of having one of these cars out of warranty.

My '10 RX 350 is great for me right now; not to big, not to small, decent gas milleage, nice looking (except for the lower front bumper), comfortable, reliable & enough trunk space. Wish it had a couple or more things (rain sensor wipers, digital velocity display, air preasure tire monitoring with display) but overall it has what I need right now.

You sure you don't have rain sensors? I think they are standard since all RX have premium package as the minimum package.

Nice !!!!!!! So Im not the only one, I have a 1991 BRG Ltd edition MX-5 with 74,000km. My dream car when I was a kid, I finally found one in good condition in 2012, told the wife I was just going to view it, she laughed because she knew I was coming home with it.

Yep, pretty sure. I asked the delivery specialist when I bought it and he said this one didn't have it If you check the manual for instructions in the wiper section for Automatic it says "If available". Weird.

The problem is, at least for most CUV/SUV owners is that they expect the handling of a sedan.
And they drive it as if it is a sedan.
I have a lot of colleagues who are X5 owners, disappointed with the 0-60.
And i ask them WHY?

Z4 ownerd complaining about trunk space... LOL!

I Exchanged a BMW X5 to get my 2005 RX 330; The X5 is fraught with issues right andleft....I wouldnt buy it again....Just got my 2013 RX 450h....sold the RX 330 in 4-5 hrs. Lexus just has superior value and fun

I will be bored with mine when my dealer has a dozen new NX's on the lot; would prefer a Hybrid; love the bold look; should be later '14/early '15!

Maybe check out the 2014 Volvo XC60. Never thought I'd like one but I bought one and so far so good. Redesigned interior and exterior for 2014 was a good one.
