I may want to try brushed stainless steel frames rather than chrome on starfire pearl. I'm having a hard time visualizing it. Any thoughts?

I'll send you a band-aid bill. Maybe now I'll loose that metallic flapping sound when I shut the tailgate .

Snail pace cheap mail so it may be a while before I get them.

One consideration is there is a large band of highly polished chrome above the license plate area, compliments of Lexus. There are many opinions and I'm sure brushed stainless wouldn't look bad, but for me, keeping a matching polished chrome frame compliments what's already there a whole lot better.

That's a good point. I'll get both and see how it looks. I can always put the stainless on my other car. Thx for your input.

Default Chrome

With the White Gold Crystal on my SC430, it's chrome all the way baby! Matches the chrome emblems and any other color would be out of place in my opinion. We also have a chrome plate bracket on our Matador Red Mica RX350.

Default Punished for not paying for Xtra freight

Bummer, just checked the status of my frame ordered on the 5th, and found out it's not due to be shipped until between the 13th and 17th . I guess 'standard' or free shipping means a wake up call to pay Xtra next time ?

Jim, the shipping weight is a few pounds so that would have been pricey to expedite. Don't worry, it'll be worth it in the end.

I checked, 'they' don't ship them to the customer. They just message the vendor to send the product 'when it's convenient' depending on how much Xtra shipping you paid. Sigh, I guess that's the way it is but knocks down their rep for me. It appears they're just an order house and order products from a vendor once they have your money.

Sounds like a good business to have if you don't care about customer delays. Nearly no overhead.

Special order plates, LOL! Hopefully you won't have to wait months.

At this rate it could very well be a month. On the 15th, I got an email that it had shipped and thought 'whoopee'. Today I checked and it's still in Los Angeles probably till Monday. Like I said, they don't stock stuff, they just take your money and depending on whether or not you padded their 'shipping profit' is when they start their process of ordering the item from the vendor. See the clip below and today is 6 days from when I got the email. And remember my original order with 'standard' shipping was accepted on the 5th. I won't be using these folks anymore.

Just hope UPS isn't moving that package by motor scooter or bicycle across the US. It sure does look though like it is shipped the very least cost method... not even an ETA by UPS for the delivery. I agree with you, it may be free shipping, but Geeessss.
