Default Discounted prepaid schedule maintenance recommendations

I did a bunch of searches, but I can't find any recommendations for discounted pre-paid scheduled maintenance.

I found an out-of-state dealer on my Prius 6 years ago that saved me a ton. v

I just finalized my new car purchase on a new RX-350 last night and I would like to shop around for a great value.

thanks in advance,

Just be careful; Where I worked we "prepaid" for oil changes for our vans for a year; the place closed a month later!!!

I'm sorry, but why did you buy a pre-paid maintenance plan for a Prius?
All it needs is regular oil changes (every 10K miles now), occasional air filter replacement (every 30K) and tire rotations (every 5K). Everything else, such as new tires, is tear-and-wear.

Best,
How does that work? Is it offered through the dealers?

I wouldn't bother going with prepaid maintenance. My SA takes out the unnecessary stuff and sticks with what absolutely needs to be done. I also get the occassional freebies and discounts. I'm out a minimal amount in three years, not including the tires. Lexus points paid for the nav update last year. There are a few things you can do yourself to bring the cost down even more. Or consider taking your RX to a Toyota dealer. Same parts and service but the cost is a lot less. The only things missing are the loaners and fancy coffee. But most importantly, remember your first two service visits are free. That'll cover you for the first year and a half.

Thanks... I did the heavy math in 2006 with my deal and it saved me about 15% with the minimal services. Funny, in 2006 it was much more common to buy the prepaid services on various forums. I am told the price for pre paid maintenance has increased enough that fewer people are getting it.

Best,
