I just purchased my first Lexus, a RX350 F-sport with the Cabernet interior and Ultra White exterior. I'm reading posts and learning about the car.

Oh and SA and RO (repair order?) are foreign to me as well.

Why don't you want a free car wash? My dealer hand washes all the cars.

I think SA is service advisor, It's Lexus lingo, it took me a while to adjust to the term.

Because I don't want my hard work spent detailing ruined in minutes. The dealer has a machine, no hand wash. Their dark colored loaners have swirls. And the vehicles are never fully dried. The drips drive me crazy. It's called OCD, I'm sure you know that acronym

Yes, SA is service advisor. I had to get used to the lingo too.

greeknasty - I just picked up a 2010 RX and was told $599 to add RES by the dealer. I was hoping for a little
less so now I'm debating installing myself and only taking it for the techstream programming.
