Anita, my first Lexus was an 04 RX330 with the Performance Package. My favorite part of the car was the height-adjustable air suspension and the kneeling mode when you parked the car for easy exit/entry. Miss that - hope it returns in the next RX. No height adjustment, but the Adaptive Variable Suspension on the NX is the next best thing.

^^ i found the noise from the air suspension when rising to be extremely annoying. It sounded very low rent, and that whine was embarrassing.

The air suspension on the 330 was nothing special. It couldn't dance, LOL! I got the performance package more for the sequential shifting, AFS and sportier suspension. All three of those things are on the 450h. Throw in being hybrid and it's just about perfect.

Yep, I remember the buzzing sound, but dropping it to the lowest level did help reduce the body roll, though stiffened the suspension a little. Also, I found it useful to raise the suspension when parking over piled snow but had to remember to disable the "kneeling" function.

Anita - Yeah, the 5-speed Sequential Shift tranny was nice but I remember a slow misbehaving tranny at times which was mostly mitigated with the TSB I got applied to it. Oh well, reminiscing a little with the 2RX - tough to forget and beat your first Lexus owned and the (positive) impression it left. If the IS300h F-Sport or the RX450h F-Sport was available in N.A., I'd own those (same with the NX).

ECU reflash solved that issue for my 330 too. All three RXs have a special place in my heart for sure. And it's funny to think I got into Lexus because of a crappy American car. Guess I have to be grateful for that too, LOL!

corrado, the F boys are looking great as usual. They light up the neighborhood with that shine. Did the IS miss his big brother, LOL! And if it isn't rain, well, let's not go there yet

Admittedly, the IS pops thanks to the Ultrasonic Blue in a sea of whites and grays on my street, but the RX in Nebula Gray can still hold its own. RX is a little jealous though because baby brother got a new CL sticker on the rear window, thanks to a generous donor!

But the RX went on vacation and got to hang out with friends. He'll get over it. Plus how many RX owners know what CL is

Default FSport Sunday - October 5, 2014

Both wife and I with kids took our F-Sports and enjoyed a great FSport event organized by my dealer. The beautiful scenic 2.5 hour drive to our destination at a golf club facing Georgian Bay and the great food were stunning. Can't wait for the next event!
