Looking at buying a 2011 RX. Anyone care to comment on the life ( miles) they get from their 19" tires? Some have told me they expect only 15,000 out of them. Thanks

30-40K seems to be the norm with Michelins. If you get the noisy Dunlaps, many replace those sooner for noise issues. Treadwear is certainly not in the 15K range.

I just turned over 10,000 on my '13 with 19" Michelins; they are just BARELY worn at all; dealer says 40-50 Thousand miles til replacement.........

My wife's 2010 RX350 has 35K miles on the clock and the original Michelin tires are getting close to the wear bars. I figure we'll make it to 40K and I then plan on getting some Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. I figure we'll get 60K out of those.

As long as the RX does not have Dunlops, you should be ok. I got about 16K miles out of mine. Many people here swear by Michelins. Normally they would be my first choice too. But I switched to the Pirelli Scorpion Verdes for less money and a warranty comparable to Michelin.

I'd be more concerned about the ride with the 19"s. Drive another RX with 18"s to make sure you like it. But remember to check the tire pressure. Dealers like to put a few extra pounds in.

Original 19" OEM Michelins lasted 43,000 miles and were 85-90% worn when replaced.

I had the Michelins on my 2010 RX and had about 22k on it when I traded for the 2013. I would say that they had 50-60% tread left.

My RX came with 19" Dunlops, they sure are noisy, right now I am at about 30k miles and by the look of things, these Dunlops can last maybe another 10k
They drive ok and handle ok, the only complain is they are pretty loud
Other than Michelins, other popurlar choice for new tires here are Yokohama YK580 and Pirelli Scorpion Verde

I got 50k miles out of my OEM michelins for my 19" wheels. I could have gotten another 3 - 5k miles but replaced due to the good rebates at DTC. At first I replaced them with Yoko YK580's bad experience, then changed them out for the Pirellis and lost MPG and so in the end i switched back to Michelins and love the ride.

I'm about to replace my 2010 RX 350 original Michelin tires, (still researching with which tires), but currently have 47,000 miles, however, my last 2008 RX 350 I only got about 25+ out of each of these tires, Michelin, Goodyear Duelers. Not sure what to buy now.
