Ecopia vs Scorpion Verde
Got 2011 RX 350 AWD, will be replacing stock Dunlops soon but cant decide which tires to get : Bridgestone Ecopia vs Pirelli Scorpion Verde
Pirelli win in every category on tirerack except snow traction.. anyone tested them on the snow ? Are they really that bad ? I will be taking my RX maybe 2-4 times a year on the snow so maybe its now that big of the deal but if they really bad then mine as well stick witch Ecopia.

Merged with the tire thread. It's been 2 1/2 years since I replaced the Dunlops with the Scorpion Verdes. They've been good in the snow. Still holds pressure well too.

I have the verde on the rx450h so the biggest issue i had was mpg... i went from 33 down to 26/27. Its almost end of life so i'm switching to something else.

The Scorpion Verdes weigh 3 lbs more than the OE Dunlops. Pirelli claims their tires gets better gas mileage. I've seen maybe a 1-2 MPG decrease. To me it's more important to have a great all season tire. They definitely fit the bill.

If you have liked the Pirelli's, I would order those again.
Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season
If you are looking for something different, the Bridgestone Dueler HL422 Ecopia is a tire I like a lot for Crossover/SUV's. The ride quality and good traction is really good. Also, it has a 65k mile warranty.
