Default Non-Wood Steering Wheel

Does anyone have a 2010 - 2013 RX without the wood steering wheel and shift ****? If so, can you post a picture of it?

I have this crazy idea that just might work. The wife absolutely does not like the brown wood on the interior trim, which is why she wants the Deep Sea Mica with Light Gray interior. The light gray comes with the ebony wood which does not offend her as much. The problem is that this color combo may be hard to get (we placed our special request with the dealer 3 weeks ago). If we cannot get that combo in a reasonable amount of time (4 months) we may go with the parchment interior and replace all the trim items that have wood. I priced the components from Sewell it totaled $2600 before shipping. I would do all the labor as this is what I used to do for a living. This is not the best option, but it is an option. We would both prefer it if the special request was accepted by Lexus.

Here are the items that would need to be replaced:

Steering Wheel - can opt for a non-wood, black leather wheel
Cup Holder
Shift ****
Window Switch Bezels (4)

FamilyRX, I wanted to do the same thing because I was not fond of the wood color. But the price ($2,700 without the steering wheel and shifter) stopped me. BTW that included the rear cup holder in the middle arm rest. Covering them or going with an aftermarket kit will be a heck of a lot cheaper and gives you more color options. Have you looked into that?

Here is the picture you wanted.

Thanks Anita. I know the '13 has a different wheel, but I can't see the rim portion being covered any different than yours. I like it.

We had an a port-installed wood kit on our '98 4Runner. It looked like an afterthought and wore out over time around the window switches. I don't know what else I would cover it with.

And I had a dealer installed wood kit on the 300. Looked great but faded over time. I've learned to just live with the color wood I have.
