I was so not prepared for the shifting when I drove the F-Sport off the lot. Three years of driving the 450h has spoiled me.

Really? The 08 IS I once owned with 18 in wheels was marginally softer than the RX F-Sport on rough roads but the RX has the better smoother ride still overall. I would have expected a worse ride on the ISF thanks to the 19 in performance rubber and dropped high performance suspension.

I had the same initial "shift shock" going from the RXh CVT to the F-Sport conventional tranny. Got used to the shifting now but nothing beats the seamless power delivery of the h.

No she loved it. Plus when I turn hard now she is now fully supported by the bucket seat and well built suspension. Oh, and she pick rx359 f sport over gs350.

Hey corrado, can you pm me your car pic? Looks nice but too small from your profile.

Test drove an F Sport RX 350, and didn't find a lot of difference from our 2010 RX350 that came on 19" wheels. Some minor cosmetic changes, yes... it definitely has the looks!! Some minor tech changes also... but in the end not enough to warrant trading in.

After having an 04 and now the '10 versions of the RX, we ended up ordering a GS350 F Sport just to change it up.

Anita (kitlz) also had similar feedback on the minimal difference between an RX with Sport Package and the F-Sport though the F-Sport has flatter cornering when driven hard due to the lateral performance dampers.

I would have done the same and keep the '10 and go with the GS F-Sport if I were in the market for a sports sedan. Still have two young kids so need the room! The GS F-Sport is truly something else and competes head to head the best the E-class, 5-series, and A6 have to offer. In fact it has beat them in most of the reviews I've seen from many different automotive journalists. Congrats on the GS!

Love the sofa analogy and it goes to show how comfort is so highly subjective.

So went back and re-test drove the Q5, then Q7 - ending up buying the RX next day. To be honest I still think the interior of Audi look at least better at night time but I am just not 100% confident about German or any other Europe cars.

As for driving wise the RX suspension felt pretty good driving home on regular street and some body roll when turning at 35mph. It's ok/not bad for an SUV and definitely think it'll be a decent car for me to keep for 5 to 10 years.
