I have a lexus GS 300. 2006 4 door sedan.to my surprise I noticed that the doors does not lock attimatically when I drive.Is this meant yo be so ?
I thought that it was standard now for the doors to luck when u drive off, and open when the car stops.
Can someone please clear this up.

I want to know if the doors in a lexus gs300are supposed to lick automatically when Yiu drive the car?
I have noticed that my locks do not lock up.
All my other cars the locks I the door locks when driving and opens when I stop.

This is a great site and very helpful, I m now navigating my way around,
But I have sent messages to darrel of sewell parts and gets no replies. No answer.
What is wrong? I want to get a key for my lexus please.

You're in the wrong forum, mate. This is the RX section. You may want to try the GS.
Autolocking may be a dealer-programmed option. I don't own a GS, so I can't tell for sure.
You can also look in the manual that came with your vehicle.

are you talking about the button on the key fob? if so, i have that too..i was expecting a button to be near the trunk somewhere so that i don't have to take out the key fob every time i want to lock/close the trunk...very annoying and inconvenient especially if you have bags of grocery in your hand and you must wait until the whole trunk closes before you can lock the car....

The little bump to lock is still on the rear door on the 2013. You can use either that, the fob, or the sensors on either front door handle to lock the doors from outside the vehicle.
