Panasonic Sound System
Just been reading the 2013 Lexus RX UK brochure. Seems that the 12 speaker system, which i think is the premium audio (non ML) is made by Panasonic. I also happen to have a copy of the 2012 brochure and this just says "12 speaker premium sound system" whereas now the brochure says "12 speaker premium sound system by Panasonic". anyone happen to know if the audio has been changed for 2013? Anyone heard the premium audio 12 speaker package compared to the 2010-11 models?

Just FYI, not limited to only Japanese cars, also imported European cars, we Americans get *****ty @ss options while entire world get various options and available different trims and models.

I think you are taking me wrong here. This options is available in the US. Its the premium audio package - 12 speaker one. Its apparently manufactured by Panasonic now.

I love the 12 speaker sound in my Lexus; sounds as good as the 200 watt Blaupunkt standard equipment in my GTO. I tried the ML and it just had more bass; sounded more like all the Mexicans who ride around blasting BASS!!!! Not worth $995..

Oh really? I thought there are only 2 options, the factory Toyota one & ML upgraded one w/ 12 speakers, I must have missed it.
