how many key modules came with this car when it was new? When I test drove it, there was one large one and one smaller one.

Both our 2010 and 2013 came with 2 electronic key fobs when we bought them new. I would really fight for the second one, if I were you. They're expensive!

I'm not sure what the smaller one would be.

I recently purchased a CPO 2010 and it came with two electronic keys including new leather fob covers.

same here ... CPO 2010 RX450H came with 2 electronic keys and new leather fobs (which I had to ask for)

I got one too but I demanded 2 for the what ifs... replacing the ecu by losing your keys is not cheap.

When i got mine about 6 weeks ago (CPO 2010 RX350) they gave me 2.

Should I have gotten a smartcard too? Hmmm.

Two full function key fobs.
One smaller valet key.
One smart card key.

You might find the smart card key tucked inside the Owner's Manual. Where mine has been since purchase. There was a place in the cover to store it.

Mine is the Ultra Premium package. i love all the features.

for the 2010 model, I've got 2 key fobs and 1 smart/card key, that one always in my billfold/wallet with all plastic cards

I only got 2 key fobs.

I never understood those people who trade-in vehicles w/o including all the keys.
