Ours has the larger numbers on the outer edge of the speedo indicating kilometres.
Smaller numbers just inside indicating miles.
Your car doesn't have the opposite with miles outside in larger numbers?
The speedo faceplate "could" be changed but sounds very spendy.
Multiplier is 0.6214 for converting from SI to Imperial :100KPH translates into 62.14 MPH.
Multiplier is 1.6214 for converting from Imperial to SI. 100MPH translates into 162.14 KPH.
To keep it simple we just use 0.6 & 1.6.
Late '70's when Canada was first converting to SI we were all issued a set of stickers with each registration renewal. 1/2" diameter, clear vinyl with white letters. We adhered them on the old style speedo lenses at every 10 MPH increments.

I have my ODB in english but I have speedometer in european system (km and l/km for consumption). I remember that the 1st time I switched from French to english, everything was in english (nav, indications, etc.) and maybe distances ? (need to be checked I can't remember).
