Yesterday I had the '13 RX350. I would have liked the CT for fun but someone else got it

Maybe next time! I can tell you the CT is fun to drive - very tossable, maneuverable and nimble though you will notice the power lacking a little, a firmer ride, and increased road noise compared to the RX.

As for me, I serviced the following cars, when at Lexus:

1. CT - usually got an '11 ES. Once got a '12 Camry (smooth, comfy, and quiet, but cheap creaking plastic in the center console)

2. past RX330 and RHh - usually got RXs of the year. Once got a Matador Red '06 GS 300 AWD (very nice).

3. Past IS - Got an an '09 ES once. Another time I got a Suzuki XL-7 (don't ask - but for those who never knew, this is a re-badged 7-passenger version of the Gen 1 Chevy Equinox.) Somehow someone figured IS AWD = Suzuki (or should I say GM) AWD

i had the 2013 RX loaner and took it in the week of Oct 21st-27th. I have an 2008 rx and 3rd time taking it in for this annoying squeaking (bushing). Since they took there time to fix the problem, i took my time having the loaner. Return it a couple of days ago which was a month in a half and put a little over 2000 miles on it :-)

Driving the 08 doesnt feel the same ast he newer RX. But, i wll trade it in the next 3 years.

Dont even ask me the details of what happen. All i know during the duration of the loaner there were some memories made

Curious - how did you find the '13 vs your '08?

First i know its more roomy. The center console is an actually center console and has secrets compartments unlike the 08. Handling is beefer and when turning its sharper. Better handle on the steering wheel, its thicker in diameter than the 08. Interior lights are actually white than the amber ones in the 08. I got use to the mouse tracked w/ GPS so overall i like it more! The new head lamps are a big plus for me as too! Overall styling is better than the 08, so..that is why i will be trading mine in another 3 years.

Road noise, couldnt hear much even though it had dunlops. Engine noise is slightly up versus the 08.... hope that anwers some of your questions. You really need to take a test drive to sense the difference. Oh the push start is amazing as well! Keyless entry is a plus with newer technology!

I've always got an RX and twice an HS that is the only loaner my dealer has or they hide the GS's and IS's when they see 16 yo rolling up in a RX...
