KQ,
I'm going to have to side with the dealer on this one. The written warranty is expressed and the reliability, quality, reputation of Lexus is implied. You were given the opportunity to buy an extended warranty when you purchased the CPO, which you declined. Unfulfilled expectations leads to upset. There's no easy way to say this, so I suggest you get off the pity pot and get your baby fixed and "Carry on McDuff"

Default same warning lights

I have developed exactly same warning lights as Mr. Malik, which come and go for last almost 3 months. Lexus mechanic and different toyota mechanic have not found any defect. Lexus mechanic suspects some sensor defect and wants to change a sensor for $600/ but no guarantee of fixing the warning lights. The car has about 70000/ miles. I would like to know from Mr. Malik as to what exact defect in his car was found when his problem was eliminated. Is this a frequent problem? and company need to take care of this defect.

I also have a 2013 Lexus RX350. I received a recall notice in May 2015 about a software problem with the ABS / brake system informing me that the brake malfunction light may come on. The problem you have experienced sounds more like the software problem addressed by the recall.

Now I connect the dots.

Back early April of this year, I brought my RC-F in for service at a small Lexus dealer in MS. The loaner I got was an ES300h!! A nice one too! I asked what was the deal, not that I was complaining or anything. They said ALL OF THE ES350 AND RX 350 are GROUNDED DUE TO SOME BRAKE ACTUATOR RECALL!!!

So for the OP, if you had PAID for the repair related to the recall, then you may want to contact Lexus HQ again for FULL reimbursement for it. I certainly think this is reasonable.

All parts fail EVENTUALLY given enough time and use. But for a part to fail "prematurely " is not acceptable. Question then becomes what constitutes "prematurely fail"?
