Hello, I'm new to the Lexus family and CL Forum.

#2 seems to be the better choice. You will not be completely happy with the RX missing those features. The 14000 mile isn't bad at all. As of the certified warranty, they are still within the original bumper to bumper factory warranty period, so IMO not too much to worry about and you can always purchase extend warranty later if you like. Why pay more for CPO now.

I'd take #2. At first I didn't really want nav, but now that I have it... Totally love it!

I would slightly prefer #2,partly because of color preference. We don't like the 19"ers on my wife's, because the ride is firmer and tires more expensive. And the NAV is frustrating not to be able to do anything with it when moving - I wish there were a software hack. Even Garmin never locked it up while moving. Either one is a great car. I paid $39k for mine 6 moints ago, but it is a CPO and I wanted one with the tow prep for hot weather durability.

Welcome to Club Lexus.

Every car purchase is a personal decision. I always start with the colors I can live with and go from there. If I was in your situation, liked either color, and both were equal in condition, I would go for the one with options. The additional options, and enjoyment, is a better value long term than having 7000 fewer miles, especially with a Lexus. If you don't put on a lot of miles, the warranty is only 1 month difference. I personally would not be without Navigation, Parking Assist and 19 inch wheels.

The 14,000 miles is still a baby in Lexus life.

Definitely, Number 2 with the nav because you'll also get the comfort package which gets you the HID's that turn and the automatic high beams, and, my favorite, the rain-sensing wipers plus the 12-speaker stereo.

I also like the fact that it's a Starfire Pearl with Black interior. Those are really hard to find for the '10 to '12 model years.

#2 for sure. The color combo is extremely rare.

I'd definitely go with #2, as the options on the car would make ownership of the RX much more satisfying.

I just purchased a 2010 RX350 last month. I chose one with the comfort package which included the auto dimming HID headlights, auto wipers, ventilated seats, and NAV w/ interface. The navigation interface and functionality leaves a lot to be desired, but the joystick interface for other controls is worth the cost of admission. After completing a 4,000 mile road trip, there is no doubt the extra perks made me a BIG fan of this car.

Rather than just have two cars, I would approach the project differently. I would decide what color combo I liked and wanted and only get that combination. I would purchase as many options I could afford. With the exception of HUD and remote start, I think that all of the options are worthwhile. Just look until you find the exact car that meets your needs. I do think you have the right idea in concentrating on low mileage cars.

That's a tough call... I can't really picture our RX without the nav. I don't use it too much, but I do like the remote touch, big screen for the audio and especially the back-up camera.

We have the 19" wheels-- though I find them to be nicer looking than the 18s, the ride quality is a LOT rougher with the larger wheels. Especially in the back seat.

The crossbars whistle on a windy day, so you may just want to store them in the garage.

In a few years, the small difference in mileage won't matter.

Good luck! I love my RX
