Default New 2013 RX350 AWD owner

My first post here. Does anyone know where the TPMS reset button is located? The manual shows it to be located on the lower dash below steering column. I see other posts referring to the horizontal panel below the dash. I've looked for 20 minutes - nothing ... Anyone?

Picked it up Monday with 3 miles on the odometer, I think we just broke 50 miles today.

yes its there, but you really have to bend over. Its underneath the knee airbag...think right of the engine cover lever

Congrats on your new ride! As RXSF suggests, it's way under there -- more than likely you'll have to be down on hands and knees to locate it at least the first time ...at least I did.

Took me two tries to find it. Helped by climbing in on my back , it's PITA but it's there. Just thinking as I write, maybe a large hand mirror would help.

Congratulations on the new 2013. You will love the AWD benefits and safety, especially on wet roads. Didn't know a car could be delivered with only 3 miles on it? I never did find the TPMS on our 2010, although never had to reset it. Dealer may have, when I had a flat tire once, but not sure. Now that I have a 2013, as you do, I like Cruiter's idea of going in back first. Flash light would probably help also.

Well, in the manual index, you find it's the 'tire pressure monitoring system

Thanks! I buried my manual in the bottom of the console. Too big a hassle to get it out with the lid configuration on that thing. LOL

Do what i do. i read a page or two when i have a free time.
like waiting for the wife while listening to the radio.
Sometimes, i bring the manual in a coffee shop just to kill time.
There are a lot of gems in there that will make you appreciate the car more.

Any place is good, and it's rather interesting after you go a few pages and have a "I didn't know a car had or could do that !!!" . Mine spent about the 1st 5 or 6 months in 'the reading room' , now it's in the laundry basket with other odds & ends, towels, gloves, etc., I keep in the back . Handy but out of the way. someone once told me that basket looked like a lady's purse with everything I had in it

Great suggestions to make your way through the manual at least one time. It's invaluable. ...then, do like me, and make primary use of the online version WITH KEYWORD SEARCH available on My Lexus. That gives me a thought since I've been through my manuals a couple of times now, and to-do for tomorrow -- stash the manuals in the bottom of the console and open up more glove compartment space! Thanks for the idea!
