Default How much to get the original Lexus HID installed

Hi All,

I just bought a pre-owned 2010 RX 350 and the only couple of things that are missing are HID Lights and Rain sensing wipers.
Can someone please tell me as to how much it would cost to get the original Lexus HIDs and Rain sensing wipers installed. I don't want to buy the aftermarket lights and would rather prefer to get the original ones.

It's just not practical to add the 'original' HID lights and rain sensing wipers. They weren't designed to be added. The cars were built with different equipment and wiring from the factory. If you could even do it, it would probably be cheaper and better to trade again for one with them. Most have them.

But you still have a great car, welcome to the Club Lexus.

Thanks for the info Jim. It only costs $515 extra to get HID on a new RX 350, so it's totally worth to get a new one with HIDs as replacing them later is not an option.

If you are going to upgrade the lights, why not go with LED AFS ones. I love mine.

Just keep the headlight assembly and get you a good aftermarket HID kit. Thats what i had done for my 2011 Camry and loved it.

Most aftermarket HID low-beam conversion kits are "unmasked", and while they do provide the owner with excellent forward-looking lighting characteristics, they blind oncoming cars, and can be downright dangerous for anyone with impaired vision. Make sure you consider this fact when choosing a kit.
