Saw that on the news tonight. A parking attendant went in the wrong direction and the RX landed on another car in the elevator. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt. Can't say the same about the RX.
The RX maybe totaled but the parking attendant survived an unbelievable 4-story plunge which proves Lexus are well made machines and protected the occupant. How can you guys tell that RX is a 3rd gen RX? I sure can't tell since it is so banged up. Thought the rims were 2nd gen but I could be wrong. Count ourselves lucky that we drive an RX. Wish the two parking attendants speedy recovery.

It's certainly a 3rd gen, the 2nd gen look's quite different. The second picture gives it away. I can't tell what year it is though, obviously at least a 2010 model, but don't know if it's a 13' with the facelift.
"RX350" designation started in the latter part of the RX 2nd generation and it has remained in the current 3rd generation so "RX350" can mean both 2nd and 3rd generation. In this particular case after watching the video again, it is pretty clear it is a 3rd gen model due to sloped hatch, rear tail lights and exterior rear view mirror with outside lights.
Yep, it's a 3rd gen 350 from the news clips I've seen on the local stations. It had 18" tires too. They said the elevator doors opened so the attendant started backing in. But the elevator wasn't there. It was a steep plunge backwards He and the car fell on to another car in the elevator shaft with an attendant in it. It's a miracle no one was killed.
